This site does not set any cookies.
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The old site used Cookiebot to manage a cookie banner. The rebuilt site has no cookies for it to manage, so both the cookies and the banner are gone.
The one thing we do store
If you use the light and dark switch in the top corner, your choice is saved in your own browser under the name pit-theme. It holds a single word, either light or dark.
That is browser storage, not a cookie. It is never sent to our server, we cannot read it, and it tells us nothing about you. Clearing your browsing data removes it and the site simply goes back to following your device setting.
Things that load from elsewhere
The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser contacts Google, which means Google can see your IP address and which page requested the font. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to build advertising profiles. No cookie is set by this.
If you follow one of our social media links, or the WhatsApp button, you leave this site and the privacy policy and cookies of that company apply from that point on. Nothing is embedded in our pages, so nothing loads from those companies unless you click.
The contact form
The form on the contact page sends what you type, and any file you attach, to us by email. It does not set a cookie and it does not store anything in your browser. What happens to the information afterwards is covered in the privacy policy.
Server logs
Our host keeps standard web server logs, which record IP addresses, the pages requested and the time. These are kept for security and diagnostics rather than for tracking, and again involve no cookies.
